What is an add-on domain?
An add-on domain is a domain that points to a subdirectory within the same account. The add-on domain will display the contents of the sub-domain it points to, but retains the web address of the add-on domain.

For example, let's say www.my2site.com is an add-on domain for the subdomain, site2.mysite.com. Visitors to www.my2site.com will see the site2.mysite.com website, but will see www.my2site.com in their browser's address bar.

Yes, first of all you need to create FTP account from your C-panel.

Here is the sample of how to do it in dreamweaver. It will also work with most of FTP software.

Access: FTP

FTP Host: subdomain.yourdomain.com

Host Directory: <leave blank>

Login: subdomain@yourdomain.com

Password: subdomain password

* Replace yourdomain.com to your registered domain.
* Replace subdomain to your new subdomain account from FTP creation.

What is a parked domain?
You can set up a domain name that you own to point to another domain name. This is known as "parking" a domain.

Example: You own the business.co.nz and innovation.co.nz domain names. You already have a web site for business.co.nz, but you do not want to create a new web site for innovation.co.nz at the moment. By parking innovation.co.nz on top of business.co.nz, all URLs for innovation.co.nz will automatically go to business.co.nz instead.

To park a domain:

  1. Click on the Parked Domains button on the home page.

  2. Enter the name of the domain that you want to park in the New Domain Name field.

  3. Click on the Add button.

I can't see my site, everyone else can
I cannot view my domain, my site, my FTP login screen, anything having to do with my domain. Everyone else can see it fine, what is the problem? I have no clue where to begin on how to fix this?

If everyone can see it but you, then your ISP is the problem. A call to them explaining the situation might bring a resolution.... or if someone can on your ISP can see your site, then it has to be your computer.

It is usually the ISP having a DNS issue of some sort, or you are having a strange computer problem (usually Windows).

If you use a software firewall, check the firewall logs in blocked sites report to see if your own site is in there.

Do you support PHP 5?
Yes, all our servers installed both PHP 4 and PHP 5. The default PHP is still PHP 4. The reason why is there are some PHP older scripts which may not work in PHP 5.

If you want to use PHP 5 instead of PHP 4, you would need to create a .htaccess file and place the following line in it.

AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .php

That .htaccess file would need to exist in every directory of the site that would be using a php5 engine.
